Lockhart Woman Sentenced to 5 Years for Role in San Antonio-Bound Human Smuggling Scheme
A Lockhart woman, Temple Ordaz-Alvarado, 50, received a five-year federal prison sentence for orchestrating a smuggling operation that moved 53 individuals from Eagle Pass to San Antonio. The case, investigated by ICE, U.S. Border Patrol, and the Texas DPS, involved a stash house and financial transactions with co-conspirator Erin Gutierrez-Maradiaga.
