The Trader Joe’s store on College Avenue in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland has become the grocery store chain’s first California store to unionize.

Taraval Street’s Gold Mirror restaurant will be getting an upstairs cannabis dispensary called Green Mirror, over the objections of many neighbors, but it was not granted the “edibles consumption lounge” the dispensary had wanted.
