A former Sun City firefighter was sentenced to 35 years after prosecutors say he abused five girls over more than a decade. The plea closes a long investigation.

A Pasadena police officer was arrested in Upland on a felony vandalism warrant and placed on unpaid administrative leave. The San Bernardino County DA charged him with vandalism of $400 or more; he is due back in court July 9.
