Charlotte firefighters rushed to a working structure fire in the 1100 block of Homestead Glen Boulevard early Monday. Officials released only an initial alert as crews worked the scene.

A 54-year-old marina resident in South Rockwood was shot early Sunday and died at a Trenton hospital. Monroe County detectives say suspects fled westbound on S. Huron River Drive.
