The folks over on our western border* are throwing an Art Walk tonight, and it's looking like a winner.
First, there's the art. Lots of exhibitions by local artists in the most unlikely nooks and crannies of Divis, featuring everything from photography to silkscreening to Haitian- and African-themed shows. And then there are the deals! Discounts and specials abound tonight, friends. From south to north, they include: Little Chihuahua: $3 tacos and pints, 5pm - 11pm The Page: happy hour till 10pm The Other Shop: 10% off all art, 6pm - 9pm Backspace: 10% off all clothing, 6pm - 9pm Country Cheese Co.: 10% off everything all day when you mention the art walk And on and on, all the way up to Geary.
