Boxing and Martial Arts Gym Coming to Divisadero
Guess what? Something's coming to 350 Divisadero -- and it's not a cannabis club! Instead, the spot is now advertising the imminent arrival of Hybrid Training, a boxing and martial arts gym due to open February 1st.

For the second day in a row, we're going to ask you to recall a story we posted back in June. Yesterday it was Bi-Rite; today, it's the saga of 350 Divis, which was on the verge of becoming a pot dispensary last summer. That effort was met with a backlash from neighbors, some public hearings, and an ultimate denial of the requisite permits. At the time, the owner had claimed he had a fallback plan to open the space as a gym. Turns out maybe that claim was legit! Hybrid Training promises classes 7 days a week, including the following:
  • Jiu Jitsu
  • Boxing
  • Mixed Martial Arts
  • Kid's Classes
The signs also mention "One Month FREE Membership," though that's about it on the information front. The space itself is pretty empty, save for some pads on the floor and a few very serious-looking iron weights called kettlebells, a word we were unfamiliar with before today. That's all the info we've got right now -- sorry, no website or phone number to share with you -- but we'll keep an eye on this one and will update accordingly!
