Rock the Bike Rolls Through Friday
When you see a big (read: 13 foot) tree sailing by your window this Friday, don't be alarmed. The crazy bike kids are at it again, and you can join them and their pedal-powered blue whale and giant bike tree stage.

We're excited about the tree in particular. It's called El Arbol, and in addition to pumping out beats and lights, it has an extended back limb for an acrobat to hang from in midair. Crazy! The show kicks off at Dolores Park at 8 p.m., but their circuit has two pickup spots in the Haight: one at Oak and Masonic, at 9 p.m., and one at Haight and Lyon, at 9:15. From there the party's going to roll down the hill to Rickshaw Stop for San Francisco Stone Soup, a dance and folktale festival. Tickets are available here, and you can read more about it right here.
