Two important meetings are happening tonight, but they're at the same time, so you'll have to pick favorites.
First, and our favorite, is the Haight Ashbury Public Realm Plan's first open community meeting. It's from 6 to 7:30 at the Urban School, and it's a chance to be heard about what you think the neighborhood needs to improve. The neighborhood received a big chunk of money from the city to go ahead with whatever plans are rolled out, so this is actually a chance to have a voice in the shape of the neighborhood over the next few years. Second, and by no means least, the Page Branch library is holding a meeting from 6 to 8 PM, at the library, to determine things like hours of operation, services, etc.
