Halloween is in the middle of the week this year, which means that San Francisco gets to celebrate its favorite holiday not once but twice!
First up: Friday night, 1015 Folsom is hosting a Halloween indie dance night with Blackbird Blackbird and Yeasayer. Blackbird Blackbird is lovely, and we think this sounds promising: and, it's FREE. So you can go spend your money on that crazy costume you've been thinking about, instead. Oh yeah, and if you're not familiar with Blackbird yet, watch them here: Saturday night is the annual Ghost Ship party on Treasure Island, in case you didn't get enough of Burning Man / decompression etc. Tickets are $60, but if you're ready to get locked on the island and dance your life away with some zombies in a big hangar, this could be just the thing. Oh yeah, and all you normal people? Put on some lipstick, tease that hair, drag out the leather. We'll be seeing you at the bar.
