Since our company is so tongue in cheek, this year we went with a window decal that is also very tongue in cheek, stating "GENERIC HOLIDAY MESSAGE". We decided to carry the theme through onto the actual window display. Since the word generic in loose terms means "that which is not special or individual", we wanted to highlight that Fluevog shoes are the exact opposite of generic. On the tree is a sign saying the generic word "tree", on the gift the generic word "gift". We painted some old shoes white and labeled them as such... "boot", "shoe", etc... but in front of the groupings of the Fluevog shoes is a fabulous sign saying "Fluevog"--pointing out that we do stand out in a very generic world.Congrats on a great window.
