Sparrow Bar and Kitchen looks like it might be one of the new gastronomical anchors of the Upper Haight, and its owners, Marc and Veronica, are almost ready to roll it out. We're excited to say we'll be giving you a menu preview and a little photo tour beforehand. And if you're looking to lay down some cash for a new Haight restaurateur, they're welcoming project investors. Second, January 24th HANC is welcoming neighborhood residents to participate in a discussion with Rec and Park to express how they feel about the recycling center closure--but we think it'll also be a good venue to let them know what you think about the Panhandle Park renovation-in-limbo.
