Here's your chance to talk to bring your questions to Supervisor Breed.
Next Thursday, March 14th, from 7-9pm at the Park Branch Library, HANC will have their monthly meeting. In attendance will be Supervisor Breed, and their agenda will focus on the French American International School's plan to open a Pre-K and Kindergarten program, and Supervisor Scott Wiener's proposal to amend the local version of the California Environmental Quality Act. The building's been vacant for almost 7 years. You can read about Scott Wiener's proposal here, but this is more or less the gist of it:

Supervisor Scott Wiener introduced legislation Tuesday that would prevent last-minute appeals of projects undergoing a California Environmental Quality Act Review (CEQA). He said that currently, CEQA decisions are being appealed months and years after the Planning Department issues its decision, which leads to more delays and cost increases. The event is free and open to the public, so we'll see you there!
