What's up this weekend? Other than picnics and sunbathing, of course.
First, get yer OutsideLands tickets here. The regular price 3-day tickets went on sale yesterday. They haven't released single-day tickets yet, but at least you know what the acts are going to be. Then, tonight the De Young is hosting an art student exhibition at 5, and it's free. (Don't ask about getting into the gallery for free, though, that's a no.) Saturday is Earth Day volunteer day everywhere, so even if you're not going to go volunteer one of the many places in the city that are going to be celebrating, think really hard about those beautiful trees you're laying out under. Saturday is also Record Store Day, so go down to your record shop and show them some love. This is your chance to pick up that Yeah Yeah Yeah's album you were too busy to grab after work this week and check out some exclusive RSD releases. Oh yeah, and don't forget to play outside.
