Haight Street was eerily post-apocalyptic yesterday. Even the market was almost deserted around midday. We can only guess everyone was at the park, a notion we support by doing a keyword search for 'sunburn' in the hood on twitter. Anyway, it seems like a great weekend to get into the park. If you haven't been recently, the Panhandle's improvements are completed and open for business. Grab a book and/or a frisbee, some Watermelon Wheat from the market, and enjoy the grass.
