So Long For Now, SFO Snowboarding
With little notice and less fanfare, SFO Snowboarding at 1630 Haight closed its doors late last week. Here what's up for its future.

Monday, August 12, the space will be open to sell off its retail fixtures, including displays and hardware. Kent Uyehara, owner of SFO and FTC next door, sold the business to Burton snowboards, who'll use the space as a flagship retail operation when they reopen it this October. The people we spoke with said the deal was announced to the store staff late last week, and that the new shop will be accepting applications for new hires.
