A limited edition Jerry Garcia beer just debuted at Magnolia.
Dave McLean of Magnolia/Alembic and Steve Altimari of High Water Brewing launched a new beer this week in celebration of the annual Jerry Week (they're both serious Deadheads). It's called Workingman's Ale, and you can find it at Alembic & Magnolia for a limited time. Jerry week is a weeklong series of festivities to commemorate Garcia, who was born on August 1st, 1942, and died August 9th, 1995. You can read about the celebration here. On Monday, August 5th, AT&T Park's Public House will serve the beer for the Giants' Grateful Dead tribute night, as Grateful Dead band & family members take to the stage during the pre-game.
