That's right: after a year and a half of battling with the city over liquor laws, Magnolia finally has a permit to let people drink outside. They have outdoor seating for 38 people at the tables against the exterior walls of the pub, where people can sit and drink and order food. They're also installing a big metal-and-wood parklet (double wide!) that's scheduled to be completed by end-of-day today, just in time for a great weekend. There will be no drinking in the parklet, which is still city property, but hey, we're not complaining. So swing by and check it out--we'll see you there.
