Open & Shut: A Merchant's Roundup
It's October, which means it's time for a bunch of businesses on the street to open, close or change hands. Here's what's happening this week.

First, Bang On t-shirts is happily ensconced in its shiny new digs at the former Cheap Thrills storefront, with a fresh paint job and everything:
This Saturday, October 12, Pink + Dolphin will finally be opening in the storefront at 1431 Haight Street, between True and Trax. The store is an LA-based men's streetwear shop (think RVCA with more pink tank tops), and the space is sketched out to look very spacey and modern.
A peek inside the future Pink + Dolphin yields this, but supposedly they'll be all unpacked and ready for business in two short days:
Pink + Dolphin is a $20 million company started five years ago by two twentysomething high school friends. We're sad to report that the Son Loy Laundry on Stanyan is no more. And we're excited to report that something seems to be underway at the former Eve Boutique--details to follow. Well kids, that's all for now.
