We noticed a general trend. Most of the cool stuff applies to the Lower Haight, and most of the Upper Haight stuff is from the 60's. It's a big part of our legacy, sure. But considering that in the article's intro, they said that 1) Upper and Lower are different entities, and 2) the Upper Haight goes way beyond hippie kitsch, here's what we think they left out.

- You know how to use the bathroom at Trax.
- Can figure out when RVCA is having a party.
- You give tourists directions on the regular.
- You knew that Club Deluxe had the best pizza in San Francisco (RIP).
- You wave to the guy who diligently sweeps Ashbury Street every morning.
- The incense guy doesn't bother trying to sell to you anymore.
- At least once a day you have to ask someone to move off your front steps to get into your apartment.
- You consider the Panhandle your personal backyard.
- You freaked out when Bacon Bacon was on SNL. Bonus points if someone in another part of the country called you to ask, "What's Bacon Bacon?"
- You know Ben & Jerry's pints are cheaper at Gus's.
