You may have noticed some construction at So Good Jewelry at the corner of Haight and Belvedere. We saw a permit listed for them to "install storefront recessed door and 2 partitions to infill the separation between stores," but the project looked so small we couldn't believe it. Sure enough, a day or so ago, a sign went up above the roughed out plywood doorway that say that the 825 square foot space is for lease. We peeked inside, and it's barely big enough to turn around with your arms outstretched. Maybe with San Francisco's real estate bubble, getting creative with your space is the only way to survive.
