As we've mentioned before, Divisadero is rapidly becoming a food connoisseur's corridor. Our local joints are being featured in blogs and food roundups left right and center. Here's the latest and greatest news in Divisadero dining:
- The Mill's Monday night pizza nights were featured in SFGate on Wednesday. Get the lowdown on their inspiration, ingredients, and process, and try their pizza in person any Monday from 6pm-9pm.
- Ever-popular 4505 Meats was highlighted in 7x7's recent roundup of ... cocktails? Starting this weekend, they'll be adding two $8 low-proof cocktails to their menu—the Butcher's Hard Lemonade, made with fermented agave and the house lemonade, and a spin on the classic mojito. They're also tapping a few new kegs this week, so if you're craving libations with your ribs, head on by.
- Continuing with their cocktail focus, 7x7's list of "50 Cocktails To Try Before You Die" included La Urbana's Acapulco Manila, the mezcal-inspired version of a dry martini. The Summit from Nopa (a fruity gin drink) also made the cut, as did Ziryab's Otswald Ripened (which contains, among other things, arak, yogurt and cinnamon).
- Anchovies are the talk of the town right now, and Nopa's "battered and fried anchovies served with lemon and romesco" were featured in an Inside Scoop article about the tiny fish.
- This Sunday, July 13th, Mini Bar is hosting a pop-up by Lady Lumpia. Swing by from 3pm-6pm for Filipino delicacies.
- Finally, if you're looking for something last-minute to fill your Friday night plans, here's a reminder that The Mill is hosting a record release party tonight, complete with free nachos courtesy of Josey Baker, topped with 4505 meat. Sounds good to us.
Enjoy a tasty weekend, Hoodline readers!
