Were you worried you wouldn't know what to do this weekend?
You were, weren't you.

First, let it be known that the Haight Ashbury poet is back and in business. Lynn Gentry, if you don't know his name, is back in town and setting up shop to hammer out your very own little poems at a moment's notice. Stop by and say hello.

If you're looking for evening entertainment, head over to Second Act to salsa the night away tonight from 6pm-9pm. That's when Gold Band will be playing its own brand of dance-ready latin rock. And as always, check and see if anything on the Milk Bar schedule tickles your fancy .

And, as if you had forgotten, the World Cup final is going to be Sunday noon. Viewing options will be plentiful, including Kezar Pub, Martin Macks, Trax, Hobson's Choice. Come to think of it, you'll probably be able to hear the game from the middle of the Panhandle, if the weather's good and people leave their windows open.

What does that mean?

It means that if you're not going to be watching the World Cup, Sunday will also be a great day for brunch. No lines!

The options in the hood are the standards at Magnolia, Zazie, and Boogaloo's weekend pop-up in Parada 22. Get it.

If you're up for a walk on Sunday from 9am-2pm, we recommend checking out the glorious Inner Richmond farmers market, on Clement between Arguello and 4th Avenue. It's bigger than our own dear Upper Haight market, and hey, you might as well have lunch while you're there.

Any weekend events we missed? Let us know in the comments.
