The SFPD is asking for the public's help finding a missing senior who is known to frequent Chinatown.

Officers have been on a continuous search for Mr. Guaung Rong Ling, 78. He was last seen in the Bayview district around 11pm–1am Sunday, July 12th. At about 7am today, his family woke to find him missing. Ling does not have his required daily medication on him and only speaks Cantonese.

Ling is an Asian male, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 140 pounds, with brown eyes and  thinning black hair. He was last seen wearing a striped sweater, navy blue vest, gray pants and black leather shoes. 

If you see Mr. Ling, the police urge that you contact 911 immediately, the SFPD Anonymous Tip Line at (415) 575-4444, or text a tip to TIP 411 with SFPD at the beginning of the message.

Update: July 14th, 10am: SFPD reported Ling was found around 7:15pm July 13th and reunited with his family.
