An arraignment will be held tomorrow in Department 22, Hall of Justice, for Blake Angus, the suspect in a July 10th attack on a woman in North Beach.

He had a preliminary court hearing on Aug. 12th at the Hall of Justice, 850 Bryant St., and Alex Bastian, spokesman for the District Attorney's office, said, "The judge determined there was sufficient evidence to hold him to answer to the charges." After the arraignment, Bastian said, a court date will be set.

Previously, Angus' attorney argued to reduce the bail or release the defendant, but bail is still set at $50,000.

The victim of the attack was walking home from her job on Market Street and said somewhere on Kearny Street, she felt like someone was following her, according to SFPD Central Station Capt. David Lazar. She went down Union Street eastbound and Verannes Street, and she got almost to Filbert when a man grabbed her by the shoulders and tried to throw her to the ground. Several neighbors heard her screaming and ran out to help; the suspect ran and was apprehended near the North Beach Library.
