This week in the Tenderloin we saw quite the storefront shakeup.
After nine months of struggling to build a customer base, Bulldog Baths Dog Resort closed its Turk and Taylor doors yesterday. The space may not be dormant for long, however. There's a plan developing to turn the location into a dog-friendly set of offices for rent.
Bash Contemporary at the corner of Golden Gate and Leavenworth is relocating, making room for the envelope-pushing fine-art curators behind the new Smash Gallery.
And a few blocks away at Eddy & Leavenworth we got the scoop on Black Cat, a new restaurant and bar aiming to open before the year closes.
Finally, classes at City College of San Francisco's interim Civic Center campus at 1170 Market St. begin Monday, and there's still time to sign up for the fall semester.
