The Cartoon Art Museum officially closed its longtime Mission Street location on Saturday. The museum's executive director told The Guardian that they expect to be closed for six months while hunting for an affordable new space, and there's no guarantee they'll be able to remain in San Francisco. However, traveling exhibitions will roll out soon.
