With mere hours left in 2015, hopefully by now you've figured out how you're going to ring in the new year. Whether you're going to catch the last sunset from one of the many peaks in the Castro, like Corona Heights or Tank Hill, celebrate at a house party, or stay at home watching a movie and avoiding all the crowds, we at Hoodline wish you a happy and safe New Year's Eve.

Remember, if you're going out to celebrate tonight, Muni will be free from 8pm on 12/31 to 5am on 1/1. While BART will not be free for New Year's Eve, it will be extending service to help you get to and from the festivities by running trains until 3am on New Year's Day.
Let's take a look back on the final week of 2015, and then get you ready for the first weekend of 2016 with some fun events.
If you're still looking for something to do tonight, you might want to consider stopping by Oasis. New Year's Eve marks the 1 Year Anniversary of the club, which has been a great addition to the LGBT nightlife scene.
Maybe you've made a New Year's resolution to get in shape and you're looking for a gym to try out. Flagship Crossfit, which opens next month in the former Blockbuster store location on Church Street, might be the perfect fit for you to start off the new year right.
In the new year, it appears as though a housing project along Market Street may begin development sooner than originally thought. The proposed LEED Platinum housing project at Sullivan's Funeral Home has been fast tracked by the SF Planning Department.
