The highly anticipated Mister Jiu's, in the former Four Seas Restaurant in the heart of Chinatown, is "so close to opening," according to a Kickstarter campaign that ends on Sunday. Celebrated chef Brandon Jew (Bar Agricole) is asking the community for pledges for the final push; rewards are being offered for donations from $10 to $10,000.

The restaurant's website has more details about the new venture at 731 Grant Ave., which "will celebrate the legacy of traditional Chinese recipes while embracing the California heritage of local and sustainable produce and pantry."
