Last week, we reported that some weren't happy about the multi-story Super Bowl 50 and Verizon ads appearing on downtown high-rises. Today, the Examiner reports that City Attorney Dennis Herrera has determined that the advertising on two sides of Four Embarcadero is illegal and must be removed by 5pm Thursday, or the City will sue for a temporary restraining order that would mandate that the signs be immediately taken down.
