On Wednesday night, a cohort of well dressed students hung around Lake Merritt BART waiting for their train. From American High School in Fremont, the students were returning from a mock trial debate in Oakland. Aastha Shah explained that their trial revolved around security brutality on a college campus, and that bits and pieces of the trial came from real cases. The students range from around 16-18 years old, and they find out today, Thursday, if they won!
