I approached Rob while he was calmly sipping some coffee, waiting for his friend to arrive to meet him around 15th and Market. Rob was soft-spoken and easy to talk to.
"I am working at a job that I am hoping to get laid off from very shortly. The company is going in a death spiral."
He explains that if he is laid off, he would get 6 months of unemployment and could cruise into retirement.
