The Bike Station, across from 19th St. BART, celebrated its one year anniversary on Friday night! While pouring beer, Hanna Link explained that The Bike Station is a free place to park your bike for the day, cutting down on bike theft. In addition, workers provide bike maintenance-- and if you find yourself without lights at night, they have some for sale. "And," she continued, "the people who work here are just really f***ing cool!" Indeed, they were all very cool, and infectiously enthusiastic about bikes.
