A 34-year-old man was left with life-threatening injuries after an early-morning shooting on Market Street between Eighth and Ninth streets.
"There were four gunshots heard at 4am Thursday in the 1200 block of Market St.," reported tipster Jerry, who sent in the above photo. "One man was taken away from the scene by ambulance."
According to police, the victim and an unknown suspect were in a verbal argument when the suspect shot the victim with a handgun, rendering unspecified injuries. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The suspect fled northbound on Hyde Street, and has not been apprehended.
