With T-minus 15 days before the Nov. 8th general election, there are mere hours left for unregistered voters to make sure their voices are heard on election day.
If you're not registered yet, you've got until midnight tonight to remedy the situation. Here's how to take care of that today, according to SF's Department of Elections:
- Online at registertovote.ca.gov before midnight. Online registration is an option for all citizens who live in California
- From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Department of Elections’ office in City Hall, Room 48
- From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with Department staff at City Hall’s main entrance on Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place (Polk Street)
If you're not quite sure if you're actually registered or not, you can check online via the Voter Registration Status Lookup tool, or call the Department of Elections at (415) 554-4375.
