Now that the election results are in, you may be looking for a few things to do to help you process what went down. Here are a few events going on around the Castro that might fit the bill.

Tonight, there will be a post-election candlelight gathering and rally at Harvey Milk Plaza. Event organizers say that "we will gather to share stories of hope, we will gather to gain strength, to find comfort in one another, to be inspired by one another and to remember the power of our community as we join in solidarity."

On Thursday night, the 15th Anniversary Transgender Film Festival kicks off at the Roxie Theatre. The world's first and longest running transgender film fest runs through Sunday, so jump on tickets now.

Escape on a ski adventure Friday night with filmmaker Warren Miller as he takes us on another thrilling journey around the globe in search of the best powder. Miller's film Here, There & Everywhere plays for one night only at the Castro Theatre.

Stop by 440 for Mr. Daddy's Barbershop Leather 2017 as the new title holder will be selected on Saturday. Then on Sunday, head on over to Beaux for Mama G's Sunday Funday Fundraiser. There will be a beer bust, jello shots and plenty of fabulous raffle prizes, all in support of a great cause.

In advance of his soon-to-be-released book, The Godfather Notebook, director Francis Ford Coppola will appear at the Castro Theatre on Tuesday for a conversation that will take you behind the scenes of his epic film series "The Godfather." (Update: the event has sold out.)
