Hundreds of protestors are rallying against the Dakota Access Pipeline in Civic Center this morning.

Roughly 400 people gathered at City Hall at 6:30am for a "sunrise ceremony." Following the ceremony, protestors marched to 1455 Market and are now rallying outside the local U.S. Army Corps of Engineers office.

As the protest is stationed in the middle of Market Street between 10th and Van Ness, the SFMTA reports on Twitter that all Market Street Muni lines are stalled.
UPDATE: All Market St lines are stopped due to protest. Allow extra time and try to find alternate routes due to police activity.

According to the protest's Facebook event invite, they are urging the USACE to deny the permit that would allow the pipeline developer to bore underneath the Missouri River and complete a full environmental impact statement.
Last week, President Obama did announce that the agency is investigating whether the pipeline can be rerouted to avoid American Indian's concerns.
