A 65-year-old woman is dead after a shooting this morning at Broad Street and Plymouth Avenue in Oceanview. Two men, said to be construction workers, were also injured, but are expected to survive.

Police responded to the incident at 10:40am, discovered the three victims at the scene. Witnesses told the Examiner that the shooting may have been a drive-by; police are currently investigating the scene.

According to Bay City News, traffic has been shut down in both directions on Broad Street, with Muni re-routing the M-Oceanview light-rail line and 54-Felton bus line.

The corner of Broad and Plymouth has a reputation for violence. In January, 18-year-old Josiah Lightfoot was also shot and killed at the intersection; an October 2016 shooting there took the life of 22-year-old Keron Lamotte.
