We don't need clear skies and sunshine to experience Oakland — which is good, considering the forecast for the next three days.

The gloom won't stop the fun at First Fridays; Uptown will be abuzz and aflutter tomorrow evening with food trucks, live music and people trying to speak over the noise to sell you some arts and crafts. 

If singing and browsing in the rain isn't your scene, there's still plenty to do, whether you're bookish or just plan to book it to the club for a night of drag or live music.
