Early this morning, a single alarm fire broke out at 2:58am at 34 Brighton Ave. The single family home suffered major damage and displaced five adults and one child. 

The fire was brought under control shortly before 4am. 

According to fire officials, two victims—a 39-year-old adult and a five-year-old child were taken to the hospital. They did not sustain life-threatening injuries are expected to recover.

The Red Cross was also notified and provided assistance to the displaced, including emergency lodging, food and incidentals, said SFFD on social media
