Looking for a fresh spot to chow down on some Mexican fare? A new location of Gorditas Aguascalientes has opened its doors at 5249 S Kedzie Ave. (between 53rd St & 52nd St) in Gage Park.
The new business is a spinoff of the Gorditas Aguascalientes location in Cicero. Both helmed by owner Don Andres, the business's new outpost has a more upscale look and feel than the original, but features the same selection of Mexican favorites, including its signature gorditas.
The new Gorditas Aguascalientes has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a four-star rating thus far.
Cesar M., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 9th, said: "They just opened a few days ago, Yesterday was there with a friend and had a couple of gorditas and a torta. Gorditas were ok/good, the masa was a little dry or needed some fat, that would have earned them the 5th star. The torta de milanesa on the other hand was delicious, one of the best I've ever had."
