There's a brand-new cafe in town. Called Lakeview Rewired, the new arrival is located at 3508 N Broadway Ave. (at Cornelia Ave).
A "refreshed" version of the former Wired Cafe, the new business says it's "committed to serving great, locally sourced coffee and pastries." It has partnered with Metropolis Coffee and West Town Bakery to offer a full selection of coffee drinks and pastries, as well as specialty drinks like its horchata frappe.
The new cafe aims to be a community gathering space, and features jazz music on Sunday night, service industry discounts, a community library, and other community oriented events.
Open since June 1st, Lakeview Rewired Cafe has one reviews thus far, giving it a five-star rating on Yelp. Jay B., the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 8th, said: “Here is a wonderful new addition along Broadway. Great locally sourced items for this wonderful bright and airy coffeehouse. Outstanding selection of hot and iced coffee beverages."
With a price rating of one dollar sign on Yelp, an outing to Lakeview Rewired Cafe is estimated to cost less than $10 per person.
