
There's a new gastropub in town. Called Fulton Market Co., the newcomer is located at 205 N Peoria St. (at Lake Street) in West Loop.
Owned by Dimitri Anastos, the new spot offers "share-able plates, a laid back atmosphere, craft beers, and unique signature cocktails," according to the business website. The menu is billed as "American bar food, with a Mediterranean twist"—look for an expansive selection of small plates, from souvlaki and bacon-wrapped dates (both $9) to pepper crushed tuna ($12), charcuterie ($14), and lobster risotto ($15), along with cocktails and 24 brews on tap. Fulton Market Co. has been warmly welcomed thus far, with a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Yayo T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 4th, said: "Popped in for a quick bite, and hair of the dog. Looks like with the large beer selection and drink menu, my hangover is going to carry over for another day."
Yelper Ann O. added: “Great new place! Best Baby Back Ribs I've had since Texas. Caribbean Ceviche and Pepper Crushed Tuna...INSANE! Wide selection of fun cocktails and fantastic beer selection. Friendly staff.”
And Dan F. said: "Great prices for even better quality! You must try the sliders and Greek fries. Its much better than your average cheeseburger and fries. Can't wait to try pizza from the handcrafted pizza oven."
