Salad fans, take heed: there's a new Sweetgreen location in the neighborhood. The latest outpost of the healthy eating chain is located at 1 N Dearborn St. (between Madison St & Calhoun Pl) in The Loop, joining the other Chicago location at 623 N State St., as well as dozens of outposts across seven other states.
Sweetgreen brings a focus on sustainability, local ingredient sourcing and made-from-scratch preparation to its business, and aims to offer healthy options. On offer are a variety of seasonal, freshly made salads and bowls, plus a make-your-own option for those who like to sit in the driver's seat. (See the full menu here.)
The new location of Sweetgreen has just one review on Yelp, which gives it a five-star rating thus far.
Brooke B., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 12th, said: "So nice to finally have a healthy and organic salad place in the loop. They offer a great salad (and grain bowl) selection that is both seasonal and always customizable. Definitely my new go to."
