This new addition—which has locations throughout North Carolina and the East Coast—is not only known for being a gas station, but a spot to grab soft-serve ice cream, Shweetz baked goods on the go, hot sandwiches and more.
For pastries, expect to see items like peanut butter banana fritter, cotton candy donuts, cinnamon twists and more. When it comes to snacks, look for boneless chicken wings; a chicken, bacon, egg and queso sandwich; breakfast burritos; grilled cheese sandwiches and other savory eats.
Sheetz has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a four-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
Vu N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on September 11th, said: "The Sheetz on Glenwood Ave. is a really nice gas station. There are plenty of pumps and and I haven't had to wait yet even during high traffic hours."
Yelper Madelyn A. added: “This Sheetz is AWESOME!!! Brand new store and I love the ice cream and yogurt machine. I'm so glad we finally got one on this side of town.”
