There's never a shortage of things to do in the city, and this weekend is jam-packed; Fleet Week has already commenced, and the Blue Angels are set to take to the skies from noon to 4pm all weekend for the airshows.

While you’ll be able to see the aerial displays from almost any vantage point in the northeastern part of the city, check out Pier 39’s fleet week celebration with free live music and a chance to mingle with some of the pilots.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass also starts tomorrow in Golden Gate Park. The free, three-day festival features top acts like Billy Bragg, Emmylou Harris, T-Bone Burnett and many more, as well as a silent disco that will run two nights.

Several events are raising money for hurricane and earthquake victims in Puerto Rico and Mexico; The Powerhouse is hosting ¡Aye Mexico! with drag performances, 1015 Folsom is hosting Live to Give, an evening of music hosted by Rich Iyala, and El Rio at 3158 A Mission St. features Reggaetón For A Cause to raise money for Puerto Rico.

Rounding out the weekend is North Beach’s Annual Italian Heritage Parade, the longest continuously running Italian heritage Parade in the United States.
