A new and used consignment store has opened up shop in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Logan Square, called Alex's Attic, is located at 2733 N Milwaukee Ave. (between Spaulding & Sawyer Avenues).
The family-owned thrift store offers styles for the whole family, with both new and used articles of clothing, shoes and accessories. Like any consignment store, Alex's purchases some of its merchandise from neighbors looking to sell wardrobe items they no longer want.
The fledgling business is still in its early days, and it's got only one review on Yelp thus far.
Thomas B., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on October 12th, said: "This is a great addition to the neighborhood. My wife stopped in last weekend and found several great professional items for her work wardrobe ... She compares it to Buffalo Exchange, but more eclectic and upscale (but still at a lower price)."
