A new pop-up bar has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The newcomer to Logan Square, called Haunted Emporium III: House of the Dead, is located at 2367 N Milwaukee Ave. (between Medill Ave & Fullerton Ave).
This new Halloween-themed pub experience, hosted by Emporium Popups, is a continuation of the "Haunted Emporium" series previously located inside Emporium Logan Square. It's an "immersive ‘haunted house-in-a-bar’ vibe" with spooky installations created by Anarchitype Productions.
On the menu, expect to see Halloween-inspired libations, as well as themed craft beer.
The pop-up runs nightly until November 4th and features horror film screenings and other themed parties, includingh a "Night of the Dead" costume party Halloween night.
It's still early days for the fledgling business—it's got just one review on Yelp thus far.
Sarah S., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on October 14th, said: "What do you do after you watch It? You go to the House of the Dead! All seems only fitting on Friday the 13th. Yep and I had a whole lot of spook going on last night."
