Craving pizza? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 2819 N Southport Ave. (between Wolfram St. & Diversey Pkwy.) in Lake View, the fresh addition is called M & G Pizza.
This new pizzeria features signature pies, pizza by the slice, stuffed pizzas, and more.
On the menu, expect to see signature pizzas like a vegetarian with mushrooms and green peppers, "The Classic" with pepperoni, sausage and veggies, and a BBQ chicken pie. You can also build your own pie by choosing from an array of ingredients on offer.
For stuffed pizzas, look for cheese, classic, vegetarian and spinach options.
There are also salads, pastas, wings, and hot sandwiches like Italian beef.
M & G Pizza has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.
Nick A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on October 20th, said: "I walked past M&G Pizza last week on my way to the bank, & was excited to see a new lunch option, since I work close by."
Yelper L K. added: “Really great pizza in a small neighborhood spot. Ordered a stuffed spinach and and it was better than many of the bigger places in the city! Quick pickup. Will definitely order again.”
