The weekend is upon us, and with so many events happening around the city, it can get overwhelming when trying to make plans. To help you narrow it down, ABC7's Reggie Aqui guides you to three events that should be on your radar.

Get your weekend started with tonight's Holiday Gaiety at the San Francisco Symphony, which will showcase performances with award-winning novelist Armistead Maupin and "San Francisco's premiere drag sensation" Peaches Christ. Tickets to the event are currently available for $20-$69.

Then get up early tomorrow to catch this year's Santa Skivvies Run, which begins at Lookout at 9:30am. To raise funds for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, participants will run through the Castro in festive accessories and limited clothing.

Round out your weekend with Circus Veritas, a performance from Oakland-based circus company Kinetic Arts Production. You can catch two performances on Saturdays, at 4pm and 8pm, with two additional shows on Sundays at 3pm and 7pm.
