If you've got Italian fare on the brain, you're in luck: we've found three new Dallas eateries that will quell your cravings. Read on for the newest places to check out the next time you're in the mood for Italian food.

Mille Lire

Mille Lire is an Italian spot helmed by acclaimed chef Giuliano Matarese, who aims to present an "ever-evolving menu that combines various regional expressions of Italian cuisine with global influences, modern cooking techniques, and an emphasis on seasonality." Look for antipasti like the creamy polenta or charred octopus, followed by handmade pasta dishes and hearty entrees like the Chianti braised short ribs or diver sea scallops. With a four-star Yelp rating out of 28 reviews, Mille Lire has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Natalie S., who was one of the first users to visit Mille Lire on January 18th, wrote: "Ok Mille Lire, you've got my vote." And Yelper Liana R. wrote: "Dear Mille, Your food was fantastic. I loved that you were able to swap the bleu for the smoked mozzarella on my fig and truffle pizza, MUAH! Delish."

Mille Lire is open weekdays from 11:30am–3pm, Thursday–Saturday from 5pm–11pm and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 5pm–10pm.

L'Italiano Bistro & Bar

L'Italiano Bistro & Bar is a bar and Italian spot, located "right across the American Airline Center where all the Dallas action takes place." 

On the menu are a variety of signature pizzas, including the "Alfredo" (with chicken, artichokes, and spinach) and the "White Pizza" (with spinach, mushrooms, garlic, ricotta and mozzarella), as well as pastas, salads, and entrees like shrimp Fra Diavlo, chicken parmigiana, seafood risotto and more. With a three-star Yelp rating out of two reviews, L'Italiano Bistro & Bar is still finding its way, but it's still early days. 

Peasant Pizzeria

Peasant Pizzeria is an Italian spot that focuses on artisan pizzas. Open since December, the new spot replaces Q Tacos at Macho's Cantina, and offers a selection of appetizers, pastas, salads, and entrees—including fish and steak dishes roasted in the Italian wood oven. 

Yelp users are excited about Peasant Pizzeria, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of 22 reviews on the site.

Yelper Kim M., who was one of the first users to visit Peasant Pizzeria on January 19th, wrote: "Everything was perfect! It was very warm and cozy and I got warm welcome from Steve (the bartender). Chef Kent was great and came out and introduced himself."

J S. noted: "From this east coast guy, the real deal has arrived in Dallas and this is it.Great staff. Kind owner. Quality, thoughtful food. Stellar bar."

Yelper Steve T. wrote: "Delicious. Local. Original.The meal I had tonight was not only delicious, but the staff made it even better with their genuine attitudes and commitment to a great experience."
